12.07.2017 – There’s a group show happening in Adelaide featuring 24 students from Adelaide College of the Arts who will showcase their present work concluding their studies in their exhibition at Light Square Gallery.

“Sprout” will present a collection of disciplines from drawing, painting, jewellery, printmaking, and sculpture to photography. There will be a variety of artworks with themes embedded from their childhood memories, to the notion of escapism, nature, culture and many more!

This event will be happening later for its opening night at 6 PM at the Gallery Space, where the Bachelor Degree offers a creative space to explore a contemporary art practice with the benefit of peer review and a dedicated studio space for the third year graduating students.

One of the students Thea Nicole Paulmitan will have her work on exhibit, and you can view some of her previous art at TNICOLARTS.COM. There are already some have been previewed via Collage Adelaide HERE.

The college provides a supportive environment in which to explores one’s art practice with lecturers who are themselves practicing artists, and bring to the table a great deal of practical knowledge, and connections to the art world!

Sprout will be an interesting visual spectacle, which will open its doors later tonight. There will be complimentary glass of wine courtesy of Karrawatta Wines and at the same time feast your eyes on the artworks.

Please be advised that this exhibition may contain artworks that have mild nudity & gore, parental guidance is recommended.
