The project is supported by sponsors from Adelaide Fringe, Renewal SA, Hindmarsh, Well Made, Young Henrys, First Coat Street Art Festival, Mitolo Wines & Atkins Print. This is also a celebration of Female Street Art and creativity World Wide but will show socially engaging and Aesthetically Innovative Public Art across the city and surrounding suburbs.

Its one of Lisa King’s biggest project to date where the walls ranging from approximate 10 meters to 30 metres in size this project will be the first of its kind in Adelaide by a female artist, and the first of this scale as a series to be independently managed and fundraised by a Female Street Artist in Australia.

She’s a rare of a kind in the urban art world – King brings with her an artistic training that encompasses oil on canvas, graphic design and illustration, and she is one of the few female street artists in Australia who is working on really large murals.

So far here murals spread around South Australia like the one visible in one place in Reynella that features a hyper feminine figures giving you David Bowie’s heterochromatic eyes that stares in the sky or the one in Glenelg in one alley in Japanese school uniform sitting pretty with the way King’s signature can be seen.

It’s a novelty when you see art around South Australia its also a privilege to find one of Lisa King’s work around this festive state. There are other murals can be found but her works stands out due to her personality and style that can be easily recognize that her hands have drawn these masterworks.

Certainly a refreshing sight to behold when you come across Lisa King’s work like no other compared in other countries. When you happen to have the chance to make it to South Australia make sure you explore the gallery of murals around the city most definitely from Lisa King herself.
