12.10.2017 – Rarely you get to see metal sculptures as a permanent fixture for people to appreciate. But in the city of Holdfast Bay known for its Brighton beach it’s something a normal perspective whenever you pass by the shoreline.

There have been many things about South Australia and one of its main reasons for being known for is cultivating talents with the support they need for their artistry. Brighton organizes an annual event and one of those talents for sculpture made this.

The title of the metal sculpture is “Hang Loose” by Chris Murphy who participated in the annual Bright Jetty Classic Sculpture Event in 2015. His works can be seen along the sidewalk beside the beaches of Brighton. You won’t miss seeing this huge hand making hand symbols that is known in the surfing scene.



Its worth noting that South Australia is supportive about the artists and its obvious that graffiti art has been part of the state’s identity and this come the same for the metal sculptures with Holdfast Bay organizing events that bring out the best of the artists in this part of Australia.



If you have been appreciative about the creativity of these artists then you’ll like the “Hang Loose” metal sculpture that’s a giant hand that has been there since the city purchased it from the artists. So if you happen to pass around Bright you won’t miss seeing this creation my Murphy that say “Just Chill” whenever you can.
