The captures the period scenes how Jane met Stephen in Cambridge University to the point his disease has taken its course. From Alien Villain to Hawking
Eddie Redmayne is the most recent actor to portray Stephen Hawking which some brilliance who has appeared in big and small films. For 2015 this must be his year bringing “The Theory of Everything” rave reviews at the same time getting his feet wet as the greedy alien known as tongue twisting name Balem Abrasax in Jupiter Ascending.
The beginnings of a humbled stage actor like Redmayne fit quite well in Hawking’s big shoes as he portrays the ailing theoretical physicist while giving viewers gravitas why he deserved the Oscar nod for Best Actor.
Hardly Felicious Than Jane
Felicity Jones was known for one movie in the Amazing Spider-Man 2 as Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat, but fans of the actress as well as followers of Spidey will never see the light of that day as recent news that changed the direction of the franchise.
But will be almost forgotten thankfully for “The Theory of Everything” that brought the actress accolades in her performance as Jane Wilde Hawking who has to go through the ordeal as the wife of a Nobel Prized Theoretical Physicist. She captures that edge and the challenges of raising three children at the same time nursing his husband.
This is a change of direction to Felicity Jones’ career and the roles she will take in the future now that she too is nominated for Best Actress in the 2015 Oscars.
Theoretically Impressive
Overall “The Theory of Everything” captures the life of Stephen Hawking with its unique take after several versions has been told. The performance of the lead actors definitely brought the narrative to life and it was profound deep and inspiring. It was emotional at the same time impressive for such well-written screenplay.
“The Theory of Everything” is an Ayala Cinema exclusive to be shown on February 25, 2015 from Universal Pictures to be distributed by Columbia Pictures in the Philippines.
