Backing her up a newly formed band features Holly Miranda, Kendra Morris, Julia Haltigan, and Este Haim (from that Haim Band). Johansson adds up describing "Candy" as "super-pop"—a distinct departure from her acoustic outings.

If anything that she can do aside being cast as an action heroine this is something to take a look at as she gives her thoughts about this project, "The idea was to write super-pop dance music written and performed by girls," adding to her statement accompanying the track. "I love Grimes. And I love the Bangles. And I love the Go-Go's. I wanted it to be like those bands: ultra pop but also a little ironic, a little in on the joke."

Now you’ll be curious by now how she sing a tune for those who haven’t here is a sample with “Candy” as released by Federal PRISM:

“Candy” has some spunk that have an interesting beat and the cover art for the single is quite as artistic describing how the band will sound like. This is just a preview with its debut single that certainly Scarlett Johansson’s next jam to her ever growing career.
