Registration was at the entrance area where they will give you the NBA Store baller that would mean you’re registered to freely check out the premises. The Fan Fest area also has standees of NBA guests featuring Portland Trailblazers Robin Lopez and Wesley Matthews along with former Brooklyn Nets Coach Avery Johnson.

Mostly the highlight of the area is what you’ll see in the soon-to-open NBA Store FIRST in South East Asia. The new store will be at the vacated area which used to have Tower Records and Powerbooks that is currently being constructed.

They have exclusive shirts featuring players representing their respective teams. This will also includes signature jerseys from adidas as well as collectible items like plush toys, shot glasses, mugs and headphones by Skull Candy. There are also other apparels like jackets, team shirts and a lot more as they near the completion of the store for the unveiling coming soon. Acer has a booth since they have a tie-up with the NBA featuring their laptops, tablets and mobile phones.

Back at the old activity center in Glorietta the program was hosted by BTV’s Chiqui Reyes and Roda King. The dance group Filipino All-Stars opened the event then followed by the performance by the Laker Girls, and Rocky the Mountain Lion made his spectacular dunks featuring volunteers that included NBA Asia’s Sheila Rasu.

There was enough fan interaction as ten volunteers joined the free throw shootout, while Dee Jae Pa’Este paints a mural featuring the three NBA guests. They are currently in Cebu for the NBA Cares helping the less fortunate and inspiring a young generation.

NBA is truly has been a regular visitor of the country that are passionate about basketball as a sport not having taller players, but having a big heart in showing their adoration for the game that recently featured the national team in FIBA the past week. This is a culmination why the National Basketball Association would like to make a connection with the country’s appreciation for the game.

If you happen to miss the festivities earlier there’s one more day to go to check out the NBA Fan Fest, which will feature the two players of the Portland Trailblazers with former NBA Champion and Coach of the Year Avery Johnson.
