Just like the first day this was now have the media taking a close look at the event. The mural painting Dee Jae Pa’Este has done from yesterday is now complete featuring the three NBA guests. The NBA Store now feature new design shirts and merchandise, which are still for display only.
But this gives you a glimpse on what to expect when the actual store opens its doors basketball fans all over Metro Manila. The engaging “Fan Fest” still has the mini-basketball shoot out. The Acer booth at the middle of the exhibit area continues to promote latest gadgets for you to take a closer look. The mini exhibit featuring the replica of the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy along with signed basketballs and jerseys of Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Stephen Curry, and Kobe Bryant can still be seen now with names on the acrylic displays.
The WalkABooth team was also there taking photos that they printed to give away. Instead of a stationary Photo Booth they roamed around to take photos of the media guests and invited friends of NBA to have that “Fan Experience.”
Earlier in the afternoon the Laker Girls cheering squad was interviewed by local TV stations prior to the start of the program. Chiqui Reyes was the main host who welcomed the three NBA Guests on stage before they started signing autographs along with Rocky the Mountain Lion.
After signing autographs they have a photo opportunity with Dee Jae Pa’Este and his mural. Wes Matthews was delighted to imitate his mural shouting, while Avery Johnson took a selfie of himself and his mural. Robin Lopez stood and appreciated the art work that captured his image as the Portland Trailblazers’ big man in the middle.
They went back on stage to share their first trip to the country and went to Cebu yesterday for their NBA Cares project. The announcement of the NBA Store was also mentioned and then the Laker Girls made their performance to close the program as Rocky the Mountain Lion toss his small basketball to the crowd.
There were still activities happening like the NBA 2K14 Celebrity competitions, which was ongoing towards the end of the event. This was not the last you’ll see an NBA Fan Fest as Avery Johnson mentioned that they are looking forward to coming back before the start of the 2014-2015 NBA Season.
