| 06.30.2013 – Social Media Day is an annual celebration and it has become a global event that was organized by local groups and organizations from all over the world. The event was launched today three years ago.
This is a way to recognize the digital revolution happening right before our eyes. We invite you to join fellow social media enthusiasts by hosting or attending a Social Media Day Meetup in your area. The event was graced by well-known personalities online as wells as celebrities and social media influencers. It was held at the new Glorietta activity center where booths by sponsors where set up.
Registration doesn’t need a fee just sign up and will hand you a special card where you need to fill up to acquire the token from the event. The card’s use is you need to complete the stamp from each of the event’s sponsors. There were games and raffles giving away neat stuff. Google one of the participating sponsors had a special activity for those who loves to make video blogs on YouTube.
Later in the day the event had special performances as well as talks discussing about the online community and being an advocate in being responsible individual using the social media as the platform in expressing your interest in participating in discussions about the ever growing society online.
