| 08.08.2012 – 08.08.2012 – Uchusentai NOIZ is a Japanese band coming to the Philippines in September though not known compared to the well-established bands that we’re wishing to see perform in the country but this is close enough for us to get a different kind sound in Asia.
It’s been since 2006 a Japanese band had performed here and long before the rise of KPOP (Korean Pop) music has swept the nation that produced special events dedicated to the that kind of culture. Now Uchusentai NOIZ is making their presence felt in the Philippine music industry now dominated by KPOP music with the likes of handsome guys who looked nicer than your average girlfriend.
They might be unknown now but they are making a “NOIZ” with their cover song of Narda which was originally performed by the Filipino band Kamikazee. A few hours ago a video was uploaded in YouTube that definitely getting some attention and here’s the reason why…
Uchuu Sentai Noiz is a visual kei rock band from Japan known for their wild cosplay antics preferably they are much like into goth fashion based on the music video .
The band is very eclectic infusing elements of punk, pop, metal, hip-hop and electronica genre into their music. The five-man band has been around since 1999 originally known first as NOIZ and throughout their career they went into many iterations of their music.
They have recorded six albums and their latest album was released on May 2, 2012 titled “High Five.” Angel Taka, Masato, Kyo, Kotaro and Yamato will be making their first trip to the Philippines performing live in Davao City this September 7 Station91 in-store events. The next performance will be on September 8 and 9, 2012 at the SM City Davao Parking Lot.
The band will also perform at The Best of Anime 2012 event on September 15-16, 2012 in the SMX Convention Center of SM Mall of Asia.
