08.02.2012 – Dell Philippines held a press launch once again to introduce two new Ultrabooks in front of the media at the Paranaque Room in Makati Shangri-La even though the weather was not that friendly earlier today. Dell announced the expansion of the XPS laptop portfolio with its latest in the XPS 14.
The award-winning XPS 13 Ultrabook is followed by the latest in introducing the XPS 14 laptop which has the same beauty and thoughtful design which includes great craftsmanship in a 14-inch screen size for the consumers who desire connectivity and performance all rolled into one no matter where they are. Dell’s flagship XPS brand of laptops enables customers to choose the best suitable for their needs who are on the go and mobile. If the XPS 13 gives you portability and compact for today’s users the XPS 14 gives you long battery life and benefit to connect you whenever and wherever you are. These laptops have both had enterprise-friendly features which combines the design and performance desired by consumers which includes security and services required by IT departments.
The XPS 14 laptop is a unique to its predecessor with a vibrant display hardened Corning gorilla Glass and uses the latest 3rd generation Intel technology processors. The event was hosted by Cai Subijano introducing speakers representing both Dell and Intel talking about the brand while in-between there was a mini-trivia contest for the media who got the chance to take home special prizes from Dell. The rainy afternoon did not stop the media invited to be present at the unveiling of Dell’s two products in the XPS 14 and Inspiron 14z.
Speaking about the Inspiron 14z which was also announced earlier today along with the XPS 14 gives you the ultraportable design in a high performance level that has a fast response. Dell emphasizes on giving quality performance which includes fast boot and resume with its Intel Rapid Start Technology. This features combines with a seven hour battery life highlighted stylish contemporary look in design at the same time incorporating its premium brushed aluminium with two color choices of Moon Silver and to be released later this year is the Fire Red.
Contemporary with its elegance in appearance pairs up with the sleek portability that you ever wanted. The Inspiron 14z is well-built specified in Dell’s Ultrabook Series with great value starting at 4.12 pounds (1.87kg) and 0.83 inches (21mm) thickest providing easy carry and lightweight for the mobile geek.
