Retro Toys: Pocket Power!

03.30.2007 – Remember when things are simple back in the days when the Nintendo Gameboy was as big the VHS player. Back then Sega a company who produce video game console to rival Nintendo was into manufacturing toys. Imagine toys that you can put into your pocket?

Well the 80's was interesting in those childhood years in any kid, who is collecting toys right now. Ever got a hold of Sega's Pocket Power? A lot of these came out. The most common among them is the UFO flyer. These where released sometime in 1989. Can't imagine the UFO flyer really flew.

Its Time for Captain America.

03.28.2007 – Captain America's dead but let's not hope he doesn't end up coming back like Superman in 1992. It was those times that it was really out of desperation for DC Comics to kill off that started the pop culture.

In Marvel's case I don't think this will be just another gimmick, but when you talk about death in comics anything is possible of coming back alive and kicking. See what Time magazine's milestone is about.

Get MAD Now.

03.27.2007 - What's with Donald Trump and Rosie O'Donnel had to do with the April issue of Mad magazine? Simple. Its parody of the reality that's been happening currently.

I've been getting a lot of Mad lately and so far this issue made quite a good laugh. Actually got issues from December 2006 up to this featured issue for the month of April. Haven't read the other parodies of previous movies and the unlikely. Can't get enough of Mad? Just grab one right now at your local comic shops.

Ogle For Your Thoughts.

03.26.2007 - Reading Sports Illustrated Swim Suit Edition has been a personal tradition. My uncle just kept sending me these magazines every year. So what's the latest for 2007? Nothin' much to ogle with than having Beyonce Knowles on the cover.

Unfortunately I can't get the free download offer at iTunes.com, because you have to be a subscriber of there service to get it. I just like every issue and this issue makes it a second time special personally to experience 3-D ogling. What more can Beyonce had to offer?

03.17.2007 – Lego has been the toy for kids who would like to build things out of plastic blocks. Well the The Block at SM North Edsa just had a ten day exihibit of anything Lego related to the old Pirates line.

The exhibit started last April 1st and it will run until April 10th. Then there will be another one that will be at the SM Megamall. See the all images right HERE.

03.16.2007 – The latest issue of Manual caught my attention. Its Joyce Jimenez back after a long absence pursuing a business management course in Australia. The beauty's back more sexier.

Un-Organized Magazine Signing.

03.12.2007 - This year I stopped reading FHM after a two year straight monthly read of the magazine. Its not that its eating my shelf space, and I really appreciate each issue that came out. Well with the exception of March 2007, because Angelica Panganiban was on the cover. I thought Maxim last year was better as it released its premiere issue. Sadly the autograph signing was not what to expect last Sunday. The organizers should learn to practice customer service.

They should stick to there announcements regarding time frame for the autograph signing. Unfortunately she didn't last up to 7:30PM, and the actress seems in distress not to accommodate all her fans. As she was whisked away without any notice. Its not a good sign for those who where expecting of her. Apologies are unacceptable just to get everyone's attention. The organizer should be consistent on how they handle the situation. Well enough banter already and check out couple of those photos taken that day HERE.

03.08.2007 - Got nothing to do this Sunday? Surely you'd expect to see something for FHM readers out there. Well cant argue about that trust me just gotta grab the March 2007 issue.

Hot Fudged.

03.03.2007 - Fudge celebrated there anniversary that was supposed to be intended for last year. I guess as they say better late than never. Featuring artists from different fields came to watch performances by Bamboo, Barbie Almalbis, Pupil, and whole lot more.
