03.28.2007 – Captain America's dead but let's not hope he doesn't end up coming back like Superman in 1992. It was those times that it was really out of desperation for DC Comics to kill off that started the pop culture.
In Marvel's case I don't think this will be just another gimmick, but when you talk about death in comics anything is possible of coming back alive and kicking. See what Time magazine's milestone is about.
