11.10.2017 – There have been car-carriers but none of them was ever conceptualized into something made into another functional tool. For Hot Wheels 2017 this was part of a sub-theme that features diecast cars with real world tools.

The Sub-theme is called “Experimotors” and it features old and new models to the Hot Wheels brand. One of these vehicles is “The Embosser” that seemed obvious for its use at the same time a car-carrier that suits your curiosity.

Hot Wheels continue to diverse their diecast cars into an organized theme that collectors would give them an option to choose from. “Experimotors” is somewhat a new theme for 2017 that already have included previous cars that is a tool, bottle opener, money clip or a golf ball holder.

New additions to the theme may not be a diecast car with its other uses, but it shows some of the new ones that can be interesting to acquire. The Embosser is one such vehicle that is a car-carrier and as the name implies as further explained below.

Hot Wheels wikia have posted the description what “The Embosser” was all about:

The Embosser is a Hot Wheels original model which is designed to look like a car-carrier truck. Since it is part of the Experimotors series, it has an awesome, never-seen before feature. The ramp can be pressed which transforms The Embosser into an embossing press which embosses the Hot Wheels logo.

There have been variations of the packaging for The Embosser, but the US release has details which was the description at the back of its card:

Born: 2017
Birthplace: El Segundo
Designer: Hot Wheels®
Specialty: Here's a reliable ramp truck that packs a punch while hauling heavy loads in record speeds - The Embosser. Press down on the ramp bed to emboss a piece of paper and get ready to make your mark!

The Boss Embossed

It’s a ramp-truck or car-carrier which ever you define it is made entirely of plastic cast in red, yellow and black with less metal parts. The tampo at the side bears its name and whatever Hot Wheels designer Bryan Benedict has come up with this concept is something that would catch your attention.

For the casual collector who just randomly cherry picks the Hot Wheels section they might not even notice this truck. The gimmick though is that it doubles something that you put a seal on you document and that’s its function it embosses the Hot Wheels flame logo to a blank paper when you press on the black ramp.

Car Carrying Truck

It’s a cool concept for “The Embosser” and its large appearance makes it to scale to some other cars that it can carry, but the ramp is permanently molded to the truck’s body and it would nice if it was functional to slide for the car to be put there.

Unfortunately due to its design for the emboss function to work they have the ramp permanently made it to be non-functional. This is understandable and probably the additional cost to add that sliding ramp gimmick would not even work properly.

“The Embosser” is part of the 2017 Hot Wheels series numbered 6 out of 10 under the HW Experimotors sub-line with overall numbered as 244 of 365 in the enitre series manufactured by Mattel, which was acquired in Australia for $1.00 AUD or PhP 40.00 Philippine pesos as part of Myer's special promo.

Hot Wheels is distributed and sold in the Philippines by Richprime Global Inc currently retailed at PhP 109.75 pesos!
