10.27.2017 – Hot Wheels has been innovative and creative with designs of their diecast cars. Some obscure and suspends the belief that it can be made into an actual vehicle that’s really out of this world that’s something for you to imagine.

The Hot Wheels High is one of those type vehicles that look so real and yet not what you think. There’s not much about this bus other than its been something Hot Wheels designer Ryu Asada had in mind that’s something to look at.

When you look at the card art it doesn’t appear like a bus that can be made into the real world. Its art itself is mind bending to comprehend the idea, but then when you look at the actual product it appears to be just another bus.

Its named “Hot Wheels High” they could have given it an appropriate designation, but then again you take away the name ‘Hot Wheels’ the appearance would give you ideas that it was put together when the designer was in the state of euphoria, but he’s not just the name was too generic for its interesting creation.

Getting High in School

Hot Wheels High was introduced in 2013 as part of the Thrill Racers sub-line for ‘HW Racers’ and from how it looks this school but was designed to be fast. It can be used for the Hot Wheels race tracks as it’s labelled also as one of the ‘Track Stars.’

So far there have been for iterations of the Hot Wheels High. The New Model year is released in a school bus theme. Its name is right with the colors, but if you look at the following iterations the name’s meaning loses its true identity.

Fastest School Service

It was “Hot Wheels High” because this is no ordinary school bus, but a booster powered service that can take every student home in a jiffy. But honestly that would be impossible in the real world with that type of engine.

But its exterior screams school but that’s on steroids as initially released the windows are tinted and the tampo markings of a school bus in yellow with black lines stands out. The roof has two windows for you to view the passenger seat and the twin boosters in chrome would certainly catch your attention.

Rocket Propelled Bus

Ovewrall “Hot Wheels High” is something of a concept idea of a school bus on steroid. It certainly works presented in its school bus theme, but in other colors certainly not working with the name as it was intended to be.

“Hot Wheels High” is part of the 2013 Hot Wheels series numbered 120 of 250 under the HW Racing sub-line "Thrill Racers" under the enitre series manufactured by Mattel, which was acquired in Australia for $2.00 AUD or PhP 80.00 Philippine pesos.

Hot Wheels is distributed and sold in the Philippines by Richprime Global Inc currently retailed at PhP 109.75 pesos!
