03.20.2016 – “Recto Made” is a collaborative effort featuring individual artists in the urban scene drawing inspiration from a place named after “Claro M. Recto” or simply known as Recto Avenue, which is generally considered Manila's old downtown area.

The art exhibition will be hosted by NOVA Gallery Manila, which will see some of the best works from the underground art scene.

The list of talents certainly bring “Recto Made” as one with how it mirrors the street culture and infusing new blood to the local scene that’s growing everyday.

Artworks sprawling wall to wall inside NOVA last night that’s inspired from the culture what defines Recto Avenue as the country’s one of the oldest streets. The concepts certainly not the usual traditional style that you see in art galleries, but introduce something out of the ordinary.

If you happen to miss out the opening night see some of the works featured at NOVA that featured some of the stuff inspired not only in the streets of Recto, but also through the Filipino culture in movies, television, or even in local komiks…
