01.22.2016 – Kris Abrigo has another solo show for Vinyl on Vinyl Art Gallery. This time it focuses on how the Filipino culture is represented from friends, personalities to families that is well connected with the artist himself.

It shows how he expresses everything in color that defines what’s trending in the Filipino masses that is put on the spotlight through Abrigo’s works. Besides the paintings that occupy the main gallery there’s a tall metal structure too.

The event was well represented and friend of the artist came in droves supporting his work. Besides Abrigo there are also two artists that are being featured for the next two weeks. The works featured are from Tyang Karyel her first solo, and Apol Sta. Maria rounding up the shows for the month of January 2016.

But the main gallery puts Kris Abrigo at the center stage with his masterpieces, which define also the artist’s personality aside from personalities that you see trending in Filipino culture. “Urbanized Indio” runs from January 21, 2015 to February 8, 2016 at the Vinyl on Vinyl gallery located at 2135 Warehouse II 2nd Level, Chino Roces Avenue (Formerly Pasong Tamo) in Makati City.
