The gala opening of JoMike’s second exhibit was inspired from his childhood when his parents bring him to his favorite place in Greenhills Shopping Arcade. This is based on the old photo as part of the description of the artists and his ongoing experimentation using the “Banig” being used in his paintings.

His recent creation for “Carousel” carries more vibrant colors and this also featured his limited edition “Wooden Menagerie” a family of Elephants that is made of handmade sculptures displayed along with his latest masterpieces.

The event closed with a raffle of one of his rare creations in “Bahay Kubo” and photos of the event taken during last night festivities with friends, family, and colleagues at the Olive Creek Gallery…

“Carousel” is JoMike Tejido’s 8th Solo Show which is on exhibit starting October 17 to November 9, 20913 at the Olive Creek Gallery ground floor of the HRC Center along Rada St. at Legaspi Village, Makati City.
