| 03.16.2013 – This year’s Art in the Park brings more about a version of Saturday Market that sells artworks and portraits than the usual food in the morning. This one-day event has become an annual tradition.
Vinyl on Vinyl who opened its doors at their art gallery in The Collective has been participating Art in the Park for the third year. Previously VoV had more art toys than works of their featured artists in their gallery. For this year they focus in selling artworks by local talents who had graced their art gallery. Some of the original works where only first unveiled during Art in the Park which makes this year’s participation having its own launch on the event itself.
Most works are painting tributes to Filipino Pop Culture icons as well as original art done by talents of the growing urban art culture. There are pieces that screams impressive and the day didn’t end until midnight when VoV sold most of those interesting artworks.
