Grammy-nominated Pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen premieres the video for her new single, “Tonight I’m Getting Over You,” today on VEVO. The stylish video, which was shot in downtown Los Angeles in late January, was directed by French director Nathalie Canguilhem, who has also lensed clips for Uffie, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Nicole Scherzinger.

“Tonight I’m Getting Over You,” which Jepsen co-wrote with its producer Max Martin, is the new single from the singer-songwriter’s debut album Kiss, which is Platinum in Japan, Gold in Germany, Indonesia, and Brazil, and Silver in France.

Jepsen, who was named Billboard’s 2012 Rising Star, was the breakout pop act of last year thanks to her ubiquitous single “Call Me Maybe,” which has sold more than 10 million singles worldwide and climbed to No. 1 in more than 47 countries. It was the best-selling song of 2012 on iTunes and was ranked No. 1 on the Village Voice’s annual “Pazz and Jop” poll. “Call Me Maybe” was nominated for a 2013 Grammy Award for “Song of the Year” and earned Jepsen a nod for “Best Pop Solo Performance.” She also won a 2012 American Music Award for New Artist of the Year, "Best Song" and "Best Push" at the 2012 EMAs, "Best International Newcomer" at the NRJ Music Awards, Best Song for "Call Me Maybe" at the Premios 40 Princiaples America Awards, and nominated for 5 Canadian Juno awards.

Jepsen is set for an equally successful 2013. After supporting multi-platinum pop/R&B star Justin Bieber on tour in the U.S. throughout the fall, she hit the road with him on February 18th for his European tour, which includes four shows at the O2 Arena in London — a collective audience of 80,000. Jepsen has also been selected as Seventeen’s March cover star and judge of the magazine’s third annual Pretty Amazing contest — a search for the ultimate real girl to appear on the magazine’s October 2013 cover.
