01.21.2013 – Dia Frampton is an American singer-song writer and part of the band Meg & Dia who got noticed when she was the runner-up in the first season of The Voice, a talent show in the US. Frampton was touring for the first time in the Philippines.
From the NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport) to the Philippine FM radio booths Dia Frampton was welcomed by fans and music enthusiasts-alike. She also performed in these radio tours in Metro Manila which was live on-air. She also had a one-night show held at the Hard Rock Café and tour did not stop there. Frampton who was the finalist on The Voice has a unique singing style that combines sunny infectious pop with layers of rock and soul has inspired that made a fan of her music in the global stage. She is currently promoting her solo album Red that was released in December 2011.
In her album Red it includes the hit single “The Broken Ones.” She also has her own rendtions of Kanye West’s “Heartless” and R.E.M.’s “Losing My Religion,” as well as the original song “Inventing Shadows.”
