06.02.2012 – Manila has a storied past when it comes to performing arts and poetry reading there’s something out of the ordinary that’s unique among us Filipinos.
Some parts of Malate are famous for its artsy and dynamic neighborhood which shares its freedom of expression.
Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf opened recently nearby Adriatico which has its locale celebrating also its Bohemian Quarter serving masterfully crafted beverages and giving us the experience of the urban culture.

Indeed the night was a revelry and sort of tribute to the old
Penguin Café Gallery from the 1980s. Three artists was present to formally launch its Adriatico store, The Coffee Bean and & Tea Leaf hosted an art-themed gathering on June 1, 2012 in its two-storey coffee shop that also features a cozy complementing glasshouse.
The simultaneous launch with the store presented art exhibits and intimate discussions with the artist hub mavericks
Cesareb> and
Jean Syuco with their daughters together joining them is digital illustrator prodigy
Dan Matutina.
It’s also a reintroducing the culture they have nurtured in the past represented by
Maxine and
Trixie Syuco taking over their parent’s legacy in he performing arts and poetry reading. The event won’t grand without Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s spiked specialty coffee and tea offerings while techno grooves and house tracks mixed by
DJ Joey Santos.

The evening is about meeting good friends and having good laughs at the same time being entertained by the performing artists as wells as musical talents that graced the urban culture scene that continue to thrived up to this day.
