09.16.2011 – This weekend get ready to unveil a collaboration fashion chic meets urban culture in vinyl toy. Secret Fresh at the Ronac Art Center will host the launch of the kidrobot for Swatch collection this Saturday at 6PM. For those who has grown up wearing the Swiss time piece and has caught the bug of collecting urban vinyl toys this is something worth getting your hands into.

The awesome momentous occasion is good in keeping time with these unique “think out of the box” designs from artists that brought to you some vibrant urban art through vinyl toys. There will be eight artists contributed to the growing collection that Swatch has released. This will accompanied by a Dunny vinyl toy matching the design art of the watch.

The Dunny a bunny-like collectible has been an iconic vinyl toy and every release of these figurines has been unique with its customizable canvas. These eight artists synonymous have been synonymous in the urban culture scene. They were featured several times in the previous releases of the Dunny series.



This is an international release and definitely its going to be a week of events releasing these cool time pieces.


These first three Swatch x kidrobot designs are (from L-R) Swatch-The So Far Away by Jeremyville, Swatch-The Eyes Are Watching by Tara McPherson, and Swatch-Tic Tic Boom by SSUR©.


The next sets are (from L-R) the Swatch-Love Song by Tilt and Swatch-Bengali by Joe Ledbetter. For anyone who has not known JLED for his amazing line art and unique animal critters. Surely this one would be up for grabs definitely.


The last set of featured are (from L-R) Swatch-Ski Instructor by Frank Kozik, Swatch-Shout Out by MAD, and Swatch-Midnight Magi by Gary Baseman.


After the launch of Kidrobot for Swatch this Saturday, the collection will be available at Swatch stores in these outlets. The list shops that would carry these are at SM Megamall, Glorietta 4, Greenbelt 5 and Trinoma; SWATCH Kiosks in SM Mall of Asia, SM City North EDSA, SM City Davao, Glorietta 3, Rockwell Power Plant Mall, Greenhills V-Mall, Shangri-La Plaza, Robinsons Place, Ermita, Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall, Festival Mall and Ayala Center, Cebu; and HOLE IN THE WALL Shops in Alabang Town Center and Ayala Marquee Mall, Angeles, Pampanga.
