| 07.14.2011 - Kobe Bryant was in town to start is five-city tour all over Asia. The five-time NBA Champion started the day with the press conference held at the Manila Peninsula, and then it was off to Gawad Kalinga in Taguig City. The blue skies share in delight that the NBA Legend was here in the Philippines once again for the third time. Arriving on a Wednesday afternoon in a private jet, Kobe had brought with him his own entourage who stayed at the Manila Peninsula. Security was tight as the day begun Thursday noon time with the reason why he’s here. The same group of media that started the day at the Peninsula where given the opportunity to follow the NBA star on the road. Three shuttles where prepared for the media to broadcast Kobe Bryant’s Manila tour.
The highlight of Kobe’s one-day visit was the main event at the Araneta Coliseum was filled up to its rafters as a treat to the fans. It was a mad house that Kobe put up a dazzling show for everyone, who had witnessed the “Black Mamba.”
