Indeed they breathe life to these unforgettable characters we only read in the books. For the Harry Potter fans they are flesh and blood.
Some have been emotional about its last film, but for all of us it was a thrilling ride that we can watch it again. The film had a special press media screening courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures Philippines on July 12, 2011 at the Coca-Cola IMAX Theater in SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.
The event was greeted by Hogwarts Philippines the local group, that was founded 10 years ago by hardcore Potter Fans dressed in their favorite characters from the movie.
The Last Deathly Hallow
The opening brings us back where we had left Harry potter from Deathly Hallows Part 1, where he buried the remains of his friend Dobby. Now experiencing full 3D it’s quite a perspective, but for someone who is not a fan of this gimmickry it’s not a pleasant sight. Though with its spectacular effects a good view of a traditional 2D would suffice for any casual viewer not entirely engrossed in everything that is Harry Potter.
It’s a benefit for every fan that had read the book and followed the film based series from the very first film. This is worth seeing it on Real 3D the visuals would define some scenes that are truly “magical” in a sense of being part of this last experience seeing Potter in the big screen.
Harry Potter will be up there with the big films that had succeeded in telling its closure. For anyone who had just got caught up wanting to go to the Wizarding School of Hogwarts this film will be one memorable flick. Visually scintillating for anyone who watches this film in detail Deathly Hallows Part 2 was made more than just another part of the book.
The Final Grade
Rating at 4.5/5 this film has definitely given us a proper closure in a simple but extravagant way. We would clamor for more but this is where we close the last chapter of this book. Harry Potter with its eight movies under its belt will go down as one of the most memorable fantasy films in the 21st century, and there won’t be anything like this that would leave us quite a ride being part of the experience.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 opens across the Philippines available on 2D and Real 3D in selected cinemas from Warner Bros. Pictures Philippines.
