01.26.2011 - Recently Love & Other Drugs was shown in a special screening, and quite an interesting film. The 2010 comedy drama film was directed by Edward Zwick, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal and the lucious Anne Hathaway.

Forgive us for our feeble minds when Anne Hathaway's name got mentioned. Because recent announcement had been out, that she will be playing the role of Selina Kyle (the alter ego of CatWoman) in the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises.

Now that anything would be excited on her next film Love & Other Drugs will surely get a lot of attention. Definitely something if you haven't seen the Red Band Trailer version to catch this one up.

Love and Those Drugs

Set in the mid-1990s the story is about a medical representative (Jake Gyllenhaal) who meets one patient, Maggie Murdock (Hathaway). Though not to give up the plot points you know these romantic comedies where the guy meets this girl, and then wam bam thank you ma'am. You'll get the idea what I'm talking about.

Basically the story element here revolves on the drug Viagra by Pfizer. If you haven't heard about that particular drung you'll be in for a treat seeing this movie.

In some parts of the world people had mized reactions, but honestly its not American Pie. Its about a movie of two people and a lot of flesh scenes, that there are scenes might give the conservative types a run on their money.

The Verdict

Overall the actors had good timing and really funny scenes when you talk Viagra in this film, which I leave everyone agaped and wondering what's this film all about. Thank goodness this made it here, which unfortunately didn't happen to No Strings Attached getting an X-Rating.

Rate this one... Love & Other Drugs is a good laugh and the skin scenes are a plus. Three out of five stars you should want to see this either a group guys or girls it surely make your hilarious movie nights a blast.
