 | 01.20.2011 - A few days ago I just wrote in my other blog on my thoughts about Anne Hathaways role in the film Love and Other Drugs, which will be shown in the Philippines on January 26, 2011. The film was already shown in the US late last year. Anyways going to the subject at hand about her getting interesting now. Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that Anne Hathaway has been cast as Selina Kyle (AKA Catwoman) in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. She will be starring along side Christian Bale, who returns in the title role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. This will be a different look on Anne Hathaway as she mostly played girl next door type of roles. Christoper Nolan is thrilled to have an opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be an addition to the ensemble cast to complete the trilogy.
In addition, Tom Hardy has been announced to play Bane. Interesting to find out Hardy if anyone didn't know portrayed Captain Picard's clone in Star Trek Nemesis, and has starred also in 2010's blockbuster film Inception also directed by Nolan.

You got to love the the latest update on this film, which includes the The Dak Knight Rises one sheet poster. Though it looked original but the poster isn't authentic, but it works like an official theater poster. This movie is going to be bigger and this will be awesome once the Batman Trilogy Story is complete.
The Dark Knight Rises will be released on July 20, 2012. The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros.
