The Premise

A massive unmanned locomotive, nicknamed "The Beast" and loaded with toxic cargo, roars through the countryside, vaporizing anything out in front of it. A veteran engineer and a young conductor, aborad another train in the runaway's path, devise an incredible plan to try and stop it -- and prevent certain disaster in a heavily populated area.

Realistic Perspective

The camera angles won't stay still and its one of the beauty of having Tony Scott directing this film. Though sometimes its a dizzying frantic makes you feel at the edge of your seat as how the train moves like a huge missile the size of a Chrysler building. Its breat taking shot makes it more thrilling as the movie rolls and takes you to the action. Rarely I've been familiar with Tony Scott's material this is one movie that will take you directly to the action.

The Beast-ful Perfomance

Denzel Washington has stretched his acting chops being one Ocar-Winner, and Chris Pine is Captain Kirk conducting a freight train. A masterful cast of characters, and that's how we see how good these actors are. Tension dropping scenes makes you want to stop and laugh at some quirky moments. Just to break the ice Chris Pine knows some humor.

Mostly the spotlight is focused on the two main actors, and they played well with their characters. One for the books would highly suggest you see this film. Not because its a high octane flick, but for the beauty of how the actors carry their roles.

Its Not Your Average Speed

Some might compare it to watching the original Speed, but there's no terrorist or a protagonist in this film. Though you got one train that's Unstoppable that they need to de-rail before it becomes a catastrophe.

Overall all I can say is if you want action and awesome perfomance, then watch this film on November 12, 2010. I give it a perfect five for something you rarely see, that let's you become part of the movie going experience. You'll never feel disappointed as this is one sleeper movie I'm sure will be a big hit.
