Join everyone’s favorite 10-year-old hero, Ben Tennyson, his cousin Gwen and the coolest grand-dad in the world, Grandpa Max on weekday morning episodes of Ben 10 at 8 AM. Lucien Harrington
Lucien Harrington is Vice President, Branding and Communications for Turner Entertainment Networks Asia, Inc. A seasoned professional in the media and communications industry, Harrington is responsible for managing the various entertainment brands, including Boomerang, Cartoon Network, POGO, TCM Turner Classic Movies, truTV and WB across the Network and integrating the communications strategy across platforms. Based in Hong Kong, Harrington works closely with the Turner management team on planning and devising communication strategies to position the company for continued growth and further expansion of the Network’s businesses in the region. Also acting as the brand custodian of the Network, he defines and establishes the strategic direction for each of the entertainment brands and provides overall leadership to Marketing, Creative Services and Public Relations. |
Before joining Turner, Harrington held senior marketing positions at The Walt Disney Company in Asia and in Walt Disney Television International in London. In Asia, his accomplishments included the introduction of the network into new markets in Asia Pacific and expanding their television presence in existing markets. Harrington was also instrumental in leading the development of Hong Kong Disneyland’s pre-opening awareness and brand-building campaigns as well as launching successful off-air franchises for Lost and Desperate Housewives.
Promoted six times in eight years at Walt Disney Television International in London, Harrington provided a full range of media relations and marketing services, relationship management and strategic input on acquisitions for the company. Key highlights included winning PR campaign of the year in Italy; developing and launching Disney’s “Classic Treasures” animated movies package that brought full-length animated movies to terrestrial television for the first time; and, being a key negotiation team member on the prestigious and successful bid to represent the Academy Awards globally outside USA.
