Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law respectively portray Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.
The film was released in the United States on December 25, 2009, and on December 26, 2009, in the UK, Ireland, and the Pacific. It will be shown in the Philippines on January 8, 2010.
One of the most talked about films of 2009 is gonna be the must see movie for 2010. Sherlock Holmes is an action film like no other. Its like watching Batman Begins, but on a lighter side as Mr. Holmes is introduced in the film as differently as what I have expected and read in the novels. A different side of Sherlock Holmes like no other. A complete opposite of what we used to know about this fictional character.

The Verdict
Its a thrill ride with a few bumps, but overall it makes this franchise fresh for those who follows Robert Downey Jr's movies. Looking forward to suspense your movie viewing delight this is the movie to see this month to start the new year. You won't get bored with the details as Sherlock Holmes reintroduced in the latest big screen adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle's famous novel. Overall I gave this four out for five stars. Simply riveting!
