01.08.2010 - The last time I featured about Tron: Legacy was as far back on July 27, 2009, when I was blown away by FirstShowing.Net's teaser trailer. First off I want to thank the local representatives of WALT DISNEY STUDIOS here for giving me the chance to share this bit of good news to everyone about Tron: Legacy. I'm no huge fan of the original film, but I've been constantly following the news about this sci-fi movie from the 1980s. The movie is eleven months away and I'm here to get your interest up. Disney has released the first-look image of the eagerly anticipated “Tron: Legacy,” a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. In the film, Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the digital world of Tron where his father has been living for 25 years.
Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant Qora (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey of escape across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous. Opening across the Philippines later this year, “Tron: Legacy” is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International. |
