| 09.28.2008 - In less than a year, Planet X Comics immediately expands to their second store, which was opened with a grand fashion by inviting some of the well-known local artists and creators in the industry.
Some of them even worked with the Nig Two and they are all here under one roof. Planet X Comics did not hesitate to bring the best and brightest to usher in their new store located at the Glorietta 3 Mall with a huge crowd in the area lining up for autographs and picking up some of the latest graphic novels from their shop and it was one big celebration with family and friends! The event was certainly grand with local artist Gerry Alanguilan, Budjette Tan, Mico Suwayan, Edgar Tadeo, Gilbert Monsanto, Leinil Yu, Stephen Segovia and KAJO Baldisimo was on-hand doing sketches and signing for comic book fans who dropped by the store. It was quite the celebratory event that a new Comic Shop opened its doors at the heart of Glorietta Mall.
You do not see this happen every single day with all the creators at one long table doing sketches and signing autographs for fans.
It is another tick in the box for this event to happen and Planet X Comics just opened its second store is something you don't see it in other places. It is a good time to be a comic book fan seeing your local artists be part of history is something worth going to during the event's opening day.
The most who got fan love was Leinil Yu for his successful doing his pencils for Secret Invasion, where most have lined up to get their comics signed or do some sketch.
Overall, it was a fun event and hopefully, we see more comics-related events in the next couple of months.
