06.22.2013 – Cars Land is a theme park that was opened to the public on June 15, 2012. It was inspired by the 2006 Disney Pixar film, Cars. It’s part of the Disney California Adventure Park's $1.1 billion expansion project.
The 12-acre (4.9 ha) area contains three rides as well as shops and restaurants, all situated in a replica of Radiator Springs, the fictional town in which most of the film's events take place. The area's main attraction is Radiator Springs Racers, a racing simulator ride that uses the technology of Epcot's Test Track.

Last June 17th our fellow contacts based in the US spent their first weeks of summer traveling to Walt Disney California to visit the fictional town of Radiator Springs where the local fire department’s Red was present as well as the adapted racing hero Lightning McQueen can be seen driving around the area.
There are three major attractions that you can find at Cars Land that you may take advantage on visiting once you arrived. They are Radiator Springs Racer, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, and Luigi’s Flying Tires.
Besides the rides there are restaurants in the area as well as memorabilia for you to take home like the Cars Land exclusive only collectibles.
As mentioned there are three restaurants you can dine-in they are Cozy Cone Motel, Flo’s V8 Café and Filmore’s Taste-in. The merchandise and collectibles can be found at Ramone’s House of Body Art, Sarge’s Surplus Hut and Radiator Springs Curios.
Just like the animated films the layout of Cars Land is seen from the guest's perspective if you’re looking down the main street of Radiator Springs, U.S.A. This was prior to the time period from Cars 2.
