05.20.2013 – 12 Stone Incorporate an independent recording company that has been around since 2003 has recently held a press launch introducing the artists and bands that has become part of the team.

The Filipino record label and talent management outfit is aiming to spread the passion for “Original Pilipino Music” to prove that the OPM is very much alive in the music industry emphasizes the “Original” and the “Pilipino” in the local scene. It’s been a long time since an independent label such as 12 Stone Inc. set an ambitious goal to let everyone know that Original Filipino music is still here to stay.

The label, home to some of the Philippines’ most influential acts rally behind an unprecedented on-air, online and on-ground campaign that kicks off with the upcoming 12 Stone Music Festival this June 2013 where the youth and music aficionados of all ages can come together for a show of support and love for local music.

Present during the press launch are some of the members of the band Rocksteddy, Save Me Hollywood, Absolute Play, Ruth Legaspi, and Barbie Almalbis-Honasan with brand ambassador who will host the event in t Margo Midwinter.

Kitchie Nadal was supposed to be present earlier today but she was on location currently shooting an independent film which will be her first starring role. But she will be present in the upcoming 12 Stone Music Festival happening in three locations in June 2013.

The music festival is a gathering of the most established artists in the country with the Philippines’ Next Big Thing. OPM icons and multi-awarded vocalists Kitchie Nadal and Barbie Almalbis-Honasan leads the collective of talent while alternative rock band Rocksteddy will be the band to watch out for worthy of tis performance.

The whole month of June 2013 get to see the bands and the artists as the 12 Stone Music Tour commence in three Megaworld Lifestyle Malls. The tour will kick off at Eastwood Central Plaza on June 1st at 6 PM. Then it’s followed on June 7th at 7:30 PM at the Venice Piazza. The tour ends on June 9th at 5 PM at The Lucky Chinatown. The tour will continue on the different campuses in Metro Manila and key cities.

12 Stone Records and its official marketing arm, Creative Minds-Strategic Media Marketing & Events, are behind the campaign that aims to provide alternative avenues for OPM artists to share their music and inspire the younger generation.

The record label seeks to introduce OPM to the “internet generation” with the music of new and distinctive Pinoy artists who know the heartbeat of this era.
