The actual Lexus IS F CCS-R featured a carbon fiber reinforced polymer hood, trunk and rear spoilers, along with a rear titanium muffler, 19-inch magnesium wheels, and modified suspension and brakes.
This also featured additional aero parts, and a separate bright orange color scheme that takes inspiration to the Tomica collectible die cast car. The engine output was raised to 428 horsepower (319 kW). The IS F CCS concept was reportedly developed as an example club racer variant for the F marquee sedan.
Takara Tomy acquired the license and rights to produce the replica for their Tomica die cast collectible car series that was first seen in the 2008 Tokyo Auto Salon with additional decals and black stripes.
Designated number 107 which is 1/66 scale released for the 2012 series features the exact orange paint details of the actual Lexus IS F CCS-R.
Tomica has higher quality produced in each die cast car with more details that some of their releases featured gimmicks like opening doors have different wheels compared to the standard releases. For the Lexus IS F CCS-R not only features all the actual car’s features and colors with additional racing stripe have opening both doors.
Every Tomica car also have a working suspension which has been a trademark of the series which rarely seen in other brands producing collectible die cast cars.
The Lexus IS F CCS-R is part of the 2012 Tomica series of die cast cars manufactured by Takara Tomy and locally distributed by Bankee Toys with the standard retail price at PhP 169.75 pesos.
