The story is short, sweet and simple with a few laughs to get you going as the scene takes you from the start to finish. The story is centered on Tina Fey’s character Portia Nathan who happens to be content with life just doing her usual routine as an Admission officer recruiting students in high schools by promoting Princeton University.
Then you got Paul Rudd as John Pressman, the guy running the Alternative High School who had an eye on Portia Nathan coming naturally in the character more relaxed than the stressed out Admission officer.
There are great supporting casts in Lily Tomlin and that actor who played the Russian teacher at Princeton that you should keep an eye out.
Of course there’s the youthful Nat Wolff playing the student Jeremiah Balakian which has connections that makes this movie interesting for those who just wants a light comedy and being entertained by the simple story that was based from the 2009 bestselling novel with the same title by Jean Hanff Korelitz.
Overall Admission is a good movie to see before hitting the road this coming Lenten Season in the Philippines. The film opens today March 22, 2013 which moviegoers can catch the film at Glorietta 4, Greenbelt 3, Trinoma, Alabang Town Center and Market! Market!
