Recently on his third solo exhibit "Warhol vs Lichtenstein" at Secret Fresh featured underground bands with special guest Moonstar 88 adding up a flavour for the night’s festivities who will also launch their upcoming album.

The album of course “This Year” is the latest from Moonstar88 and it was actually designed by JP Cuison himself which was eye catching and it was limited to less than 500 pieces that has his art all over it.

It won’t be as festive as Moonstar 88 getting ready for the night where all their fans came to wait and see what the story is all about. The band performing some string of hits as well as one of the singles titled “Ligaw” which has two versions in the album.

The first one a solo by Maychelle and the last one which features a certain Chito Miranda from that band known as Parokya ni Edgar.

For this night Chito was not present for the duet and to everyone’s surprise JP Cuison steps in to lend the vocals for this performance to a roaring glee by friends in the urban culture community. We can’t day no more but high praises as JP expands his talent in artistry into acquiring a talent to sing.

The album of course won’t be out in record stores as reported it was just released four days ago and “This Year” which was first actually seen by the band themselves. To their surprise it turned out beyond their expectation when JP helmed the eye catching design.

If you missed the opening night of JP Cuison’s "Warhol vs Lichtenstein" solo exhibit at Secret Fresh here’s the photos from that particular performance…
