11.22.2011 – Undeniably still the hottest and sultry artist out there right now is Nina who just recently unveiled her latest album titled “Stay Alive.” The most versatile recording artist was dressed to impress the media at the Patio Carlito in Quezon City. The program started early when she performed some of the songs in her latest 12 track album. This was produced by Universal Records which showcases Nina’s distinct musical style as a multi-genre artist, incorporating varieties of strong repertoire. The section ranges from upbeat tempo to the infusion of mixed sounds of r&b, club and pop are very much noticeable in this album.
The carrier single “Dance” is one upbeat track that everyone got catch, which features a different side of Nina. “This album features a new sound but it still distinctly Nina,” says the Asia’s Diamond Soul Siren. “I have worked hard for this album, so I am really hoping that people will enjoy Stay Alive.”
In her skimpy sexy outfit Nina was gamely spoke to some invited press media people and one of them had a segment that asked her to reveal what’s inside her bag.
She was unprepared for this but still never let her stop from sharing her thoughts. Nina gives us the details about the other upbeat tunes in the album which includes “I Came To Dance”, “Only With You”, and “Laging Ikaw.”
The ballad “However Much Love” is something of a classic Nina for her fans because one can hear the sensitivity and vulnerability in the singer’s voice. This was an instant favorite among her fans. The other standout is the inspirational “Believe in the Dream.”
A duet with Keith Martin “You should Know” in one track is Nina composed in this album. The other ballads also include “I Don’t Want To Fight”, “Starlight”, and “Missing You.” As a bonus “Hagkan” rounds up the 12th track in her own rendition. The album itself is a reflection on Nina’s style as she personalized which is close to her heart.
“Stay Alive” was closely produced with Nina being involved through the entire process of the production of the album from conceptualization including the cover. The Paper Dolls cut out was an added treat among others.
