Mostly the character that we are about to see is something of a parody on Antonio Banders’ old film in “Mask of the Zorro” from the late 1990s.

This also teams up with his trusty friend Humpty Dumpty (voiced by Zach Galifianakis know for his work in The Hangover Movie Series) to save Puss in Boots’ own town against a mysterious mastermind.

This animated film from DreamWorks Animation reunites also Banderas with Salma Hayek who first teamed-up in the live action film in “Desperado” as kitty Softpaws. Puss in Boots also stars Bill Bob Thorton and Amy Sedaris to round-up the cast of these animated adventures of our feline hero who has the obsession in wearing boots.

It is set to be released in theaters on October 28, 2011 in Digital 3D and IMAX 3D from United International Pictures and DreamWorks Animation locally distributed by Solar Entertainment.
