| 10.27.2011 – Great perspective and surreal it’s what defined the concert of Owl City. They are back after their first gig since March 14, 2010 at the SM Convention Center in SM Mall of Asia. This time Adam Young returns with his band for the Owl City: All Things Bright and Beautiful Tour. The concert was held at the NBC Tent and there are only two options either you taking the GOLD or VIP section. The view from GOLD is enough to experience the electronica in Owl City. It was a festive night at the Bonifacio Global City as Owl City Philippines the local fan group was in full force at the VIP section. The bouncers where eagle eye as they prohibited professional DSLR cameras. However there are a few who got in without them noticing. But all fair and love for owl City as the spectacular light show worked hand in hand with the memorable performance of the band.

Quite captivating to witness Adam Young a Seattle native with his band making the fans shout in glee and the ear drums could not take the screams, but it was a wonderful moment to see Owl City perform “Fireflies”, “Alligator Skies”, “Angels”, and selected songs from his hit albums.
The neon lights and the appreciation can be felt in the crowd as Adam Young had put a great show that is Owl City and we sure hope he comes back again for a third time. The crowd went out there way to support this event that packed the NBC Tent to all corners. Mostly they performed new songs from their third album “All Things Bright and Beautiful” that was thrillingly exciting.
The sounds was just right but forgive us for the low quality of the videos as the only option we had captured in recording this awesome spectacle that is Owl City doing their international tour for their new album that was released early this year…
Their next stop will be Indonesia after a rip roaring success in Manila. Definitely it’s a Vanilla Twilight to share you how great Owl City is when they perform up close and personal. Special acknowledgment to Monster Radio RX93.1 the 2011 Golden Dove Awardee.
