08.01.2010 - Social Network is a movie detailing the Harvard dorm room origins of social media megasite Facebook, which was unvieled last month in the Philippines at Click The City. The film stars Jesse Eisenberg (“Zombieland”) as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg who created the site in 2004 at Harvard during his sophomore year. It now has over 60 million members and is valued at $16 billion. Also starring are Justin Timberlake (“Shrek The Third”) as Sean Parker, the Napster co-founder who became Facebook's founding president; and Andrew Garfield (“Lions for Lambs”) as Eduardo Saverin, the Facebook co-founder who fell out with Zuckerberg over money Directed by the Oscar-nominated David Fincher (“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”), “The Social Network” is written by Aaron Sorkin (“A Few Good Men”) based on the novel by Ben Mezrich.
