 | 06.30.2010 - Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back celebrated its 30th Anniversary this year as posted by my good friend Tim V. at his Pop Culture Crusader blog on May 21, 2010. Evidently thirty years it has been since we last see Harrison Ford have worn a chaleco and a blaster in hand. No doubt being a fan of Star Wars his appearance has been used in the books, comics, and even action figures that will forever be Han Solo. Up until now whenever I see an action figure of the famous pilot of the Millennium Falcon his likeness has been immortalized and etched in our memories. But what about his good friend Chewbacca? What's to talk about Chewie the native from the planet Kashyyk? Well if you noticed this image you'll get the idea that its Peter Mayhew is behind that hairy carpet. This is what Princess Leia described in her first encounter with the Wookie. |
