 | 11.21.2009 - Anime Festival Asia 2009 kicks off today as Philippine representatives Alodia and Ashley Gosiengfiao will compete for the Cosplay Regional Championship. Team Philippines composed of Cosplayers, and Photographers will be taking coverage for this event held at Suntec Convention Center. The same place where STGCC 2009 was held this recent August. Our team is currently there right now at Suntec since yesterday during preview night, where the place was being set up. Get ready for another Anime event happening this time in Singapore. Our man Ronald "RG" Guanzon accompanied Alodia & Ashley from the day of the flight up to assisting the girls prepare for the competition. Photos taken from last night reminds me of my trip in Singapore for STGCC 2009 was just like last month. This one's a first for RG since his last international anime related coverage was back in Hong Kong 2001.

For those people who aspiring to be cosplayers you can be like these ladies. You just have to be at top of your game. Let's support them for representing the country, and hopefully win this year's competition. Because this will open to other Filipinos who wants to be there at AFA 2009. |
