10.25.2009 - First heard the rumors about the A-Team going to have a movie was early last year, and after that the flames dies out. Until I checked facebook (Thanks Ms. Sionee Lagman for sharing) earlier today. Back then on Thursday nights it was shown on GMA 7. I watch it religiously as kid getting a B.A. Baracus action figure beside He-Man for Christmas.

This one is TV show aside from Knight Rider and Air Wolf, that I see before going off to bed. Now its rolling just like the black GMC Vandura van they have driven in the show to the big screen on June 11th, 2010 release.

FirstShowing.Net had shown the official photo of the new cast for the upcoming movie, and I say its close to the original cast from 1983. Its pure nostalgia and widely a pop culture phenomenon back then when it first aired on television.

Directed by Joe Carnahan (Smokin' Aces, Pride and Glory) and Michael Brandt / Derek Haas (Wanted) written adaptation of the 1980's TV show is about a group of ex-Army Special Forces who work as soldiers while being on the run from the military for a crime they didn't commit.

Starring as the elite A-Team are: Sharlto Copley as Capt. "Howling Mad" Murdock, Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck, Liam Neeson as Col. John "Hannibal" Smith, and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as Sgt. Bosco "B.A." Baracus.

Now looking at the old cast the new one hopefully will bring these characters to life just like back the 80s. This is one of the films to look forward to next year, and you can't miss this one for the books.
