01.22.2007 - Yesterday was Avalon Studios reunion after ten years. A group of Filipino comic book artists who made a difference when Whilce Portacio put up a studio with another artist in 1997 for Image Comics. The event was organized by Comic Odyssey last Sunday.
Thanks to the staff & crew of Comic Odyssey for bringing in artists Philip Tan, Jay Anacleto, Gilbert Monsanto, and Gerry Alanguilan signing comic books. Not to mention rising Hulk penciler Carlo Pangulayan and others forgot to mention. A local artist community group was there too and you see all the photos HERE.
