01.30.2011 - adidas constantly innovates and its not just for men's apparel. They have been a sports brand for so many years, and they continue to make waves as the sporting apparel for everyone's needs.

Recently adidas had recently launched and ontroduced the all-new feminine TechFit™ apparel which features adidas ambassador Alessandra Pasquali. Together with some of the many ballerinas from the Staatsballett Berlin, an international ballet company.

This collection was developed to bring the special athletic needs to women.

Dell M109S, The Mobile Projector.

01.29.2011 - Dell unveiled tww lines of laser printers (Dell 1130 and 2330 laser printer series) and three projectors (S300wi wireless projector, 1610 HD multimedia and M109s portable projector). This launched Dell's S&P (Software & Peripherals) portfolio in the Philippines.

Speaking of projectors recent development in technology has given us a lot of mobile devices. We got mobile phones, tablets, and now we have projectors. One peripheral, that came ot mind is Dell's M109S projector. Desinged for the road warrior who wants ultra mobility, perfomance and ease of use for those on-the-go users.

Flick Review: Sexy Sassy in Burlesque!

01.29.2011 - Burlesque (also called travesty) is a humorous theatrical entertainment involving parody and sometimes grotesque exaggeration. Before burlesque became associated with striptease, it was a form of musical and theatrical parody in which an opera or piece of classical theatre was treated in a broad, often risqué style very different from the original form.

Basically that's what the word meant, and it gives you the idea about this movie. Rarely you'll be seeing these kind of entertainment, and you thought this only happens in the film. Actually here in the Philippines there's a place not entirely like the one you'll be seeing in cinemas, but it sure remind me of that place I once experienced vising it.

The film had won the 2010 Golden Glove Award for a musical film. Indeed. I thought I've seen everything about Christina Aguilera, but her vocal talent speaks for itself that she has an edge.

Running at 119 minutes you won't even bother looking at your watch with all the entertainment. The glamour of it all is the musical performances.

Kobe Bryant in "The Black Mamba!"

01.27.2011 - Sneaker heads who follow Kobe Bryant's oydssey in the hardwood is in for a treat. As you have seen, Nike has been working on a film project with Kobe Bryant. Its something to look forward to checking out, because its directed by Robert Rodriguez (Machete, Predators & Kill Bill).

Nike doesn't usually work with Bruce Willis or Kanye West so this is quite a departure to their usual project.

Its Official, First Look on The All-New ThunderCats!

01.27.2011 - Everyone who grew up in the 80s would recall the cartoon ThunderCats, which was produced by Rankin/Bass animation studios. Its one of the most watch animated series, that came with the toys and prior to yesterday's revelation of the upcoming merchandise from Bandai.

It seems Warner. Bros Animation and Studio4°C had it all planned for this awesome modern reimagining of the classic cartoon, and we got the official announcement to back it up. Its going to be one of the most awaited revivals for 2011.

Flick Review: Love & Other Drugs!

01.26.2011 - Recently Love & Other Drugs was shown in a special screening, and quite an interesting film. The 2010 comedy drama film was directed by Edward Zwick, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal and the lucious Anne Hathaway.

Forgive us for our feeble minds when Anne Hathaway's name got mentioned. Because recent announcement had been out, that she will be playing the role of Selina Kyle (the alter ego of CatWoman) in the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises.

Catching up with The American Chopper: Junior VS. Senior!

01.25.2011 - One of the tv shows I've been following from the beginning on Discovery Channel was the American Chopper. Its been a while since I last saw the most recent episodes. Its been a year since the Father and Son team of the Teutuls have been divided and the tension has heat up.

If you have just recently tuned in to Discovery Channel Asia the series previous season of episodes has been on syndication limbo.

I was hoping to see the latest in its 8th season of American Choppers: Junior Vs. Senior.

When Discovery Turbo was introduced in Asia back in 2009 they moved the show there, but after a year of reruns I thought the series would be cancelled.

Eventually Discovery Channel announced a spin off, but here in Asia we thought it was all over until I stumbled on the latest season middle of last year.

Flick Review: Yogi Bear Breaks The Pic-A-Nic Barrier!

01.24.2011 - For everyone who grew up watching The Yogi Bear Show its sure is a blast seeing its sequel turned into a live-action film. Did I just say sequel?

Yup. Its animated predecessor was Hey There, It's Yogi Bear! A 1964 animated feature film produced by then known Hanna-Barbera Productions. The first theatrical feature produced by Hanna-Barbera, and the first feature-leangth theatrical animated film based on a television program.

01.23.2011 - News has been circulating about a Lethal Weapon reboot. If you haven't heard it from the grapevine possibly it can happen anytime soon. Recently there some high-profile titles are getting a modern look at Warner Bros due to the departure of long time executive Jessica Goodman.

The executive vp oversaw projects come alive during her 13-year tenture. She oversaw projects like Watchman, Training Day, and the upcoming Green Lantern. Since she left the company, the studio's top brass has reassigned her protfolio among several execs.

The Yogi Bear Press Media Screening!

01.23.2011 - Just recently came from the Press Media screening of the live action Yogi Bear movie, which stars Dan Aykroyd as Yogi and Justin Timberlake as the impressive sidekick Boo Boo. The mischievous bears where at the event to greet kids and the kid at heart, namely adults who had the opportunity to have photos with the mascots.

Thanks to Warner Bros. Picture Philippines for bringing this movie for the whole family on a Sunday. They have provided food catering with free cotton candy and fries for the little ones. It was a festive day to end all weekends, and it was something for the family to see altogether.

Dreams Come True: Love Central!

01.22.2011 - Dreams Come True the Japanese pop, soul, and r&b duo had released their 16th album late November of 2010 dubbed Love Central, which includes 13 tracks distributed by Universal Music Japan.

There are two version of the said album, which is the regular and the limited edition.

The regular album will come with only a poster-size fold out jacket, while the limited edition will have the same poster-size jacket. But will also include a photo book, which is in a 3D packaging.

01.20.2011 - Adam Sandler went and Just Go With It his the latest romatic comdey film opposite Jennifer Aniston for the first time. This also stars the Sports Illustrated 2010 Swim Suit model/actress Brooklyn Decker.

In the film, Danny is a successful plastic surgeon who pretends to be unhappily married to get women. When he found the right girl he didn't use his method on her, but soon finds the wedding band he uses. He enlists his loyal assistant to pretend to his ex-wife, in order to cover up a careless lie.

The Dark Knight Rises reveals Bane & Catwoman!

01.20.2011 - A few days ago I just wrote in my other blog on my thoughts about Anne Hathaways role in the film Love and Other Drugs, which will be shown in the Philippines on January 26, 2011. The film was already shown in the US late last year.

Anyways going to the subject at hand about her getting interesting now. Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that Anne Hathaway has been cast as Selina Kyle (AKA Catwoman) in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises.

She will be starring along side Christian Bale, who returns in the title role of Bruce Wayne/Batman.

This will be a different look on Anne Hathaway as she mostly played girl next door type of roles. Let's see how she takes her acting talents to a character, who we've been familiar about in the comic books.

01.18.2011 - It may look baduy (cheap) but it caught up to everyone's attention. You may find out of the usual stylized mobile devices of today, but nothing beats an original Filipino brand catering to the masses. I'm talking about the MyPhone.

Flick Review: Stung By The Green Hornet!

01.18.2011 - The Green Hornet premiered in the US at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre a week ago, and it was shown in regular cinemas on January 14, 2011. Here in the Philippines the film had recently concluded its own red carpet screening at Cinema 1 in SM Megamall. The movie debuts on January 19, 2011 locally.

The red carpet premier was huge thanks in part to SM Cinema and Columbia Pictures Philippines. The event was captivated also with the local stars, but the main extravagant was the movie itself.

The MythBusters Green Hornet Special!

01.17.2011 - If you haven't been up to date on the latest movies around maybe you would be finding out about the upcoming Green Hornet flick. Yeah its already out in the US and UK last January 14, 2011. But it won't be out in the Philippines until January 19, 2011 which is a couple of days away.

Previous to the screening there was a few specials dedicated to the film. One favorite special that I didn't miss to see is the MythBusters Green Hornet Special. I've seen the syndicated 60s TV show and read a comic book about it. For any fan who follows the Myth Busters this is surely hard to miss.

I've been wearing it since the time Michael jordan, and the Chicago Bulls had started that theme in the 1995-1996 record breaking championship run. When you talk about history celebrate it with great appreciation. This month is the we give respect to the 35th anniversary in remembering the important people, and events of the African diaspora in history. PRESS RELEASE: Warner Bros Unveil Red Riding Hood Poster!

01.13.2011 - Warner Bros. has just released the international poster of the romantic fantasy thriller Red Riding Hood from director Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight).

The film features an ensemble cast, led by Amanda Seyfried (Letters to Juliet, Mamma Mia!) in the title role. The film also stars Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight, the Harry Potter films), Billy Burke (the Twilight films), Shiloh Fernandez (Skateland), Max Irons Dorian Gray), Oscar® nominee Virgina Madsen (Sideways), and Oscar® winner Julie Christie (Away from Her, Darling).

In “Red Riding Hood,” Seyfried plays Valerie, a beautiful young woman torn between two men. She is in love with a brooding outsider, Peter (Shiloh Fernandez), but her parents have arranged for her to marry the wealthy Henry (Max Irons).

Unwilling to lose each other, Valerie and Peter are planning to run away together when they learn that Valerie’s older sister has been killed by the werewolf that prowls the dark forest surrounding their village.

If exorcists are your type of movies Warner Bros. brings you The Rite will be just right for your screaming in the cinemas.

Though not entirely a fan of this one should be interested to see and believe if there is actually exorcists. The darkness they witness firsthand have long held a cultural fascination, regardless of one’s faith or background.
