Its a huge billboard of Sitti Live! the album. The giant image of Manila's Queen of Bossanova is near Guadalupe area where buses stops. If your inspired to to know more just text 2346 true believers!

Tower Records No More.

11.13.2006 - Back in the late 90s, Tower Records opened a store in the Philippines through a franchise collaboration between an American company and Ayala. This was good news to the local scene. An American brand coming to the country, and it was Tower Records that would possibly lead to its UK competitor, like His Master's Voice, or known as HMV, would follow suit.

Tower Records has a wide range of music selection,s namely Japanese music and other foreign artists not heard on Philippine radio. There's no other record store that would compete with that kind of music selection from other countries. The only thing that kept the growth was the price increase on audio CDs, which includes direct imports not produced locally.

BossaNova Next Level.

11.11.2006 - BossaNova has re-counquered the mass crowd into listening good and cool music. Thanks in part to Sitti the hottest sensation in country, who would open the doors for more bossa nova for the local artist.

Sofia has followed barely three months in the business, and she is a definite scorcher in her gigs and events. Recording companies are putting up BossaNova compilations left and right like it was a sudden invasion. Even artists like Agot Isidro-Sandejas has cut an album to make you remember The Island.
Far reaching to believe that its too eraly to say that 2006 is the year BossaNova has turned younger audience to converts. Now the music genre translated as new beat is expanding its horizons with another new comer name Raffi Quijano released her debut album titled Manila Blends last November 3rd who hails from Cebu. Even Jerome Rico the man, who played in one of Sitti's songs in her plantinum-ized Cafe Bossa had put up his own album.
Its too early to say for some who would comment as a hype, but like Sitti would say BossaNova is here to stay. Care to see the biggest the very first BossaFestival in the country? Well that would be the day everyone would unite to show you how music change our lives. How it reaches beyond the boundaries of the rich and the poor. BossaNova will be around for a long time.

11.10.2006 - I just saw a glimpse of a future Bossa Festival that has the best artists who came from that particular genre has made Bossa Nova reborn via Sitti and Sofia.

I'd say the November 2006 issue of Sense & Style says it all through the photos of two fast rising artists in the music industry that brought Bossa Nova the new beat for the young and old. Get magazine and read about it!

11.03.2006 - This month local men's meghazines get everybody's attention. Every month I pick an issue of FHM and Maxim then you wonder that things gets in there content better.

I can't argue which to pick one if I was in a position of cost efficient individual. Both issue gives you your money's worth. Its your decision which ones to keep your pants tight, and your pockets bleeding for some more.
